Eid is a perfect time to come together to give families and friends a joyous occasion they can cherish together! Join us this Eid ul-Adha for a day to remember complete with activities, games, stalls, ethnic foods, performances and more…
Everyone is welcome, so invite your neighbours, friends and colleagues! Muslim or non-Muslim, male or female, young or old, all are welcome.
When is it?
10am-4pm, Sunday, 18th September, 2016
Note: The date of Eid ul adha is dependent on moon-sighting but will fall during a weekday this year. We have chosen the closest Sunday after .
Where is it?
Canterbury Horticultural Society, 57 Riccarton Ave, Christchurch. (Parking wardens will be available on the day to ensure a smooth day!) [wpgmza id=”1″]

-A range of games and activities for kids of all ages throughout the day including, bouncy castle, balloons, face painting, a ride-on train, gladiator pit and more!
-The DeenQuest, a specially designed, Islamically-inspired treasure hunt with a grand prize!
– Ethnic food stalls covering a variety of delicious delicacies
– A walk-in cultural lounge drawing from a rich and vast Islamic history
-Ongoing entertainment that includes cultural performances, martial arts, games
