Becoming a Muslim in today’s environment can be a difficult experience for many.

Our Medina Project was born for this reason, inspired by the residents who took in Islam’s early migrants seeking a new home to practice their faith freely.

It is a Mentorship Program for New Muslims in Christchurch where we can set you up with our team of volunteers, many of whom have experience in:

• da’wah
• leading study circles
• visiting prisons
• involved with interfaith work
• are converts who have gone down the same path you are
• or are simply great friends who will be able to help you along your journey!

Having been involved in community work for so many years, they will be able to put you in touch with the best people for your needs.
